Khao Rang Hill Viewpoint

Also called Rang Hill, this viewpoint rises about 3km northwest of central Phuket Town on a hill shaded by mature rubber trees and landscaped gardens. An open pagoda marks the main platform, from which the view stretches south across the rooftops of Phuket Town toward the hills where the Big Buddha statue stands in the distance. It's a favourite with locals for evening walks and exercise, and a handful of hillside cafes nearby take advantage of the outlook, especially as the sky colours at sunset.
